About the Author

Writing because I do not know how else to thrive…

A recent graduate of the University of Guelph in General Arts with studies in English Literature and Philosophy (Spring 2013), I am just a young lady looking to share my creativity with others and can only hope I can inspire others in the process. I mainly write poems on all sorts of themes and subjects, and fully support the practice of writing short stories to express your ideas and motivations.

During my last semester of university, I was introduced to the Victorian-age practice of the serialization of novels. I completely fell in love with this idea because you’re not overwhelming your readers, and even create a little anticipation when story lines are getting a it tense. I’m excited to post my short stories this way through my blog and encourage all to give me feedback, all of which is positive because I will be able to make my writing better because of it!

Currently, I reside in Etobicoke, Ontario where I attended Humber College Lakeshore for a Creative Writing Program for my short stories. Now that I have completed the program, I am looking towards beginning a career in accounting and am in the process of applying through CPA.

I am employed right now but donations are always welcome! I am in the process of purchasing some editing, grammar, and writing books for myself. Donations can be sent through Paypal to marie.stojanovski@gmail.com. If you leave your name and address, I will send you back a thank you and also post about you on my blog (if you wish).

  1. Hi, I want to thank you for stopping in over on cookiecrumbstoliveby and for wanting to follow along on my life’s little journey. I read the post about your bruised rib cage and I certainly hope your are breathing more freely and feeling better—I’ve had my fair share of oddities with regard to health—most frustrating to be sure!!
Again, thank you for visiting—many blessings—Peace and Grace–Julie

    • Thank you so much. I am doing a little better, but it’s going to take a while until I’m right as rain again.
I look forward to seeing more of your posts and checking out your blog ^_^
