Back of the World

At the back of the world

The sky drops off

Into a brightness beyond

Anything seen before

Can this be the end

Or the shimmering of the start

Can this rise up

Instead of the coming night

Further beyond the back meets sky

Where sky builds around

Bends back to the start

Where the sky gives way

To the ocean starts

And the world…

The world begins
