[The Assassin][Part 2]

Standard

The rain is pouring down hard

Water slick against his open blade

The lanterns glowed in the midnight darkness

His mind was singular

He knew what his task was

He knew nothing would make him deviate

His target should be here soon

He was ready

A flash of lightening lit the skies

He still blended into the night

The night couldn’t touch him

His legs ached from being immobile

Soon. Soon his time would come

More lightening flashed

The rain came down harder

A fury of raging winds flurried around him

The blade craving for more blood
